FAQ

Common questions

Can LetsPost edit existing YouTube videos?
Yes — update title, description, tags, visibility, and thumbnail on already-published videos via videos.update. Useful for A/B-testing CTRs.
Are YouTube Shorts treated differently?
You upload the same way (MP4 < 60s, vertical 9:16). YouTube's API auto-classifies as Short based on aspect ratio + length — no separate flag needed.
What about Community posts?
Not yet. The YouTube Data API doesn't expose a publish endpoint for Community posts at the moment. We'll add it the day they ship one.
Quota limits?
YouTube's Data API has daily quotas. LetsPost batches reads and uses cheap endpoints where possible — for typical creator accounts, you'll never see the limit.
